English: Disused railway, Almeley The remains of the old railway station building at Almeley, part of the platform can be seen on the right. The line used to link Kington with Eardisley and the former Midland, Hereford, Hay and Brecon line. This branch line was opened in 1874, though closed pre-Beeching as the 1940s OS maps show the line as disused. |
