Summary edit

Description
English: The London and Blackwall Railway opened in 1840 as a cable-hauled line. However, traffic was disappointing and 1850 a line from Stepney to Bow was opened by the East & West India Docks & Birmingham Junction Railway (later the North London Railway). This bridge, now disused, took this line over what is now the A13 in Limehouse.
