Summary edit

Description
English: Doe's in Knipton pasture. The Doe triple D was the answer to more horse power in the 1960's. Developed by an Essex farmer and commercially produced by Doe's of Ulting, the triple D was two Fordson tractors connected by a turntable and linkage to control engine functions simultaneously. The tractor could then handle larger ploughs and cultivators. The development of four wheel drive and larger engines saw the demise of the Doe tractor. Enthusiast and restorers make sure the Doe tractor is not forgotten and many are refurbished to a high standard.
