| Description |
English: Dog Kennel Hill looking south taking in much of East Dulwich. On the horizon are the twin complex, tapering blocks of Dawson Heights, Overhill Road, East Dulwich, which form a spread V-shape or trough viewed from the Denmark Hill/Dog Kennel Hill eminence.
Dog Kennel Hill is a dual carriageway, this dating from the days of trams. Because of the gradient, two trams were not alloweed to be on the same track on the hill at the same time, therefore a track alongside the road was provided in each direction. |
