| Description |
Special mid-axle drawbar trailer called dolly. It is equipped with fifth wheel to couple it with semi-trailer thus creating an A-frame type trailer (full trailer). This is European version of dolly and this type is widely used in Finland and Sweden to pull semi-trailer with rigid truck (straigth truck). In Australia and Northern America same kind of trailer is used, but as far as I know, it's build is somewhat different from this. From left to right, there is hook which is used to couple the dolly to a rigid truck and next to it are air hoses and cords. Above the leg are hoses and cords for semi-trailer. In front of front axle is controller for air suspension. With it dollys suspension can be lifted, lowered and set to driving position. Over the axles is normal fifth wheel and behind the dolly are normal lights and register plate. |
