Description
Deutsch: Dom zu Altenberg, Bergischer Dom, Bundglasfenster in der Westfassade von 1400 – In Anwesenheit des Grafen Adolf IV und des Kölner Erzbischofs Konrad von Hochstaden wurde im März 1259 der Grundstein für den Bergischen Dom gelegt. Der Chor wurde 1287 geweiht, die vollständige Konsekration erfolgte 1379. Der Dom, eine ehemalige große Klosterkirche der Zisterzienser Abtei Altenberg ist eine im gotischen Stil gebaute dreischiffige Basilika. Altenberg liegt in der Gemeinde Odenthal fast in Sichtweite des Kölner Doms (Köln -> Odenthal = 16 Km)
