Deutsch: Domschatzkammer des Kölner Doms: Der Legende nach soll Petrus seinen Stab gesendet haben, um Maternus, den ersten Kölner Bischof, wieder zum Leben zu erwecken. Erzbischof Brun hat den Stab um 960 nach Köln geholt, der sich zuvor in Toul und Metz befunden hatte. Der Stab gilt heute als spätantiker Zeremonialstab, der in Zweitverwendung von einem Bischof genutzt wurde. Der Elfenbeinknauf gilt als spätantik; die Metallbeschläge stammen vermutlich aus dem 6. Jahrhundert. |
