Donauwörth liegt an den Südwestausläufern der Fränkischen Alb mit dem Naturpark Altmühltal und an den Ostausläufern (Riesalb) der Schwäbischen Alb.

Dreigeschossiger Hauptbau mit Mansardwalmdach und doppelläufiger Freitreppe, im Kern um 1236, Inneres in der 2. Hälfte 15. Jahrhundert umgebaut, drittes Obergeschoss 1501 aufgesetzt, Dachtragwerk 1786/87, Regotisierung unter Hinzufügung der Zwerchhäuser mit Zinnengiebeln 1853; Nördlich ehemaliger städtischer Kasten, bis 1570 auch Stadtschranne, langgestreckter zweigeschossiger Massivbau, im Kern 1495, Walmdach Ende 18. Jahrhundert D-7-79-131-54
