Cargos: 1870 - Demonstrador da Secção médica da Escola Médico-Cirúrgica do Porto; 1872 - Lente proprietário da Escola Médico-Cirúrgica do Porto (Medicina Interna); 1886 - Vereador da Câmara Municipal do Porto com o Pelouro da Instrução Pública; 1887 - Vice-presidente da Câmara Municipal do Porto, acumulando o cargo de Vereador com o Pelouro dos Incêndios (triénio 1887-1890); 1887 - Assume o cargo de Presidente da Câmara Municipal do Porto; 1890 - Presidente da Câmara Municipal do Porto para o triénio 1890-1892; 1895 - Provedor da Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto; 1896 - Vereador da Câmara Municipal do Porto com o Pelouro dos Incêndios;
