Summary edit

Description
English: Dragon angle brackets at entrance to Wardrop's Court These dragons add some character to an otherwise drab close on Edinburgh's Royal Mile. I believe they were designed by Sir Patrick Geddes, (1854-1932), environmentalist and pioneer town planner but seek confirmation of this. Whatever, if painted they would attract wider attention and enhance this prominent tourist area. Indeed provide a Mecca for visiting Welsh rugby fans who frequent the nearby pubs! There are two more dragons at the northern end of this short passageway.
