It seems there is the broad channel (here choked with reeds) known as Capel Fleet with a drain either side running parallel. Seems an odd arrangement but doubtless there is a good reason for it. Capel Fleet was the channel which separated the Isle of Harty from mainland Sheppey in days gone by. |
