English: Drinking fountain, Torquay. This drinking fountain is in the wall of Castle Chambers at the junction of Trematon Avenue and Higher Union Street. It can be seen in 673966. "Drinking fountain of 1888, mainly marble by AW Blackler from designs by RW Drew of Meadfoot Lodge, commemorates General CF Fordyce. Basin on moulded stem with scalloped niche above.
