Description

Dronningens gate mot vest ca. 1860. Ilabergene er snaue og ikke skogbevokst ennå.

Datidens fotografering gjør at kvartalene virker mye kortere i bildets dybde enn det ville ha gjort på et moderne fotografi. Stiftsgården er synlig til venstre. Ilabergene har en svært synlig strandlinje. Man kan også se den gamle Trollaveien. Det mørke huset til høyre ligger på hjørnet av Nordre gate. De høye trappene var typisk for denne tiden.
