Title |
"Dry Falls near Coulee City, Washington. This is near the southern termination of Grand Coulee proper. The falls were active during the latter part of the second glacier age when Grand Coulee was the course of the Columbia River which at that time carried the combined flow of nearly all streams originating in the northwest section of this continent and of several others including the Missouri which now flow from the eastern watershed. The photo was made from the western rim of the horse-shoe shaped spillway." |
