Description
Deutsch: DSB S-Bahn Kopenhagen: Am 29. September 1979 wurde die Verlängerung der S-Bahnlinie E von Hundige nach Solrød Strand eingeweiht. Der Einweihungszug - aus einer Prototypengarnitur der dritten Kopenhagener S-Bahngeneration bestehend - hält am Eröffnungsdatum in Solrød Strand. - Die Prototypen der dritten Generation wurden im Herbst 1979 von der Firma Scandia in Randers mit elektrischer Ausstattung von teils der englischen Firma GEC (MC 6501-6504), teils der schwedischen Firma ASEA (MC 6505-6508) geliefert. Wegen verschiedener Fehler und Mängel wurden sämtliche Prototypenwagen 1993-1994 ausgemustert. - Die Serienproduktion (6509-6524) wurde bei Scandia / ASEA bestellt, aber wegen Geldmangel konnten die Dänischen Staatsbahnen nur acht Garnituren (Steuerwagen FC, 2x Triebwagen MC, Steuerwagen FC) bestellen. Das geschah 1983-1984. - Im Spätsommer 2006 wurden alle Wagen ausgemustert.
