English: Durbar of Maharaja Dalip Singh, c 1845, Probably by Hasan-al-din, Sikh School, Lahore circa 1845. Gouache heightened with gold on paper, seated on a terrace surrounded by prominent nobles, his dog reclining next to him, low table supporting three blue and white vases filled with pink roses in the foreground, all within a peitra dura architectural setting, flowerhead and green borders, mounted, framed and glazed, 19 x 25 cm.
