English: NDGA induced accumulation of EGFP-hZW10 by kinetochore ‘shedding’. HeLa cells stably expressing EGFP-hZW10 were treated with 30 µM NDGA and imaged using the spinning disk confocal microscope. Maximum projections of 5 1 µm Z-stacks taken 2.26 seconds apart are shown. EGFP-hZW10 is seen accumulated at the spindle poles at the start of the movie and EGFP-hZW10 foci are seen steaming towards the spindle pole. Time shown as minutes:seconds.milliseconds. Scale bar = 8 µm. |
