Note that the aircraft was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 17 (CVW-17, tail code "AA"). A four-plane detachment from VMAQ-2 (Det.Y) was later deployed aboard the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga (CV-60) to the Mediterranean Sea from 2 April to 20 October 1984. |
