Description
English: The "new" Edmonton Transit bus stop sign at stop 1123 (north side of City Hall), with the transitional sticker still attached. As Edmonton Transit plans to roll out a redesigned route system on April 25, 2021, the bus stop signs in the city were redesigned as well. The new signs were installed with a removable sticker, placed over the route numbers, to depict both the old and new route numbers to transit users, as well as the date of the change. This sticker is to be removed after April 25, 2021, so only the new route numbers will be depicted. At the date this photo was taken, the new route system had yet to take effect, so the sticker was still on the sign.
