| Description |
English: I don't have the exact time these were taken yet other than this is during the first orbit, but from what I've read from John Glenn's experience ("Brilliant orange and blue layers spread out 45 to 60 degrees on either side of the sun, tapering gradually toward the horizon."), this is likely the sunset observed over the Indian Ocean.
