English: Earth bank near Walterstone This earth bank and ditch beside the footpath on the eastern side of a field near Walterstone looks as though it is a missing remnant of Offa's Dyke. There is a large section between Monmouth and Kington where Offa's Dyke is missing though in places in Herefordshire small remnants are marked on OS maps. This is likely to be no more than the line of an ancient field boundary. |
