Description

The earlier series of Class 68s was a big hit so here's one more. I'm not going to debate the case for loco-haulage on East Midland Trains (there probably isn't one). The livery is based on that applied to the Class 43 HST power cars but without the lower orange wavy line - a continuation of the feature on the coaching stock that only makes sense on single-end power cars. The current fashion for swoops and curves rarely sits comfortably on double-ended locomotives but Stagecoach has made a fair attempt with its various rail subsidiaries (11-Jun-15).
