English: The frigate Christianshavn of the Danish Asiatic Company. This ship was originally a British East-India man, taken by the French 1798 and sold to Denmark in 1800. Eckersberg was never at the Table Mountain, but based his painting on a recent work. Oil on canvas, 38.5 x 54 cm. Original at Sønderborg Slot.
