  • Significance: This house was built by Edgar Wells, a local builder-architect associated with the firm of Klieves, Kraft and Company. Erected about 1889, it reflects Wells' fondness for rich decorative detailing and is an architecturally eclectic composition. Evidence indicates that this house was originally designed to be a two-family structure.
