Description
Français : Édifice Ernest-Cormier, au 100 rue Notre-Dame Est à Montréal. Il abrite aujourd'hui la cour d'appel du Québec. Il fut construit en 1925. De 1925 à 1970, il était le palais de justice où l'on traitait les affaires criminelles. Sur l'architrave est écrit : « FRVSTRA LEGIS AVXILIVM QVAERIT QVI IN LEGEM COMMITTIT » (Celui qui enfreint la loi cherche son aide en vain).
