Description
Català: Edifici de la Caixa de Pensions (carrer d'Horta, 65). On ara està l'edifici de La Caixa, estava hi havia l'antic escorxador del poble d'Horta, amb el seu campanar que popularment se'l coneixia amb el nom de la "Torre de les noies" construït en 1845. Quan la Caixa va comprar l'edifici, el 1945, ja feia temps que amenaçava ruïna i va ser derruït per l'Ajuntament el 1946. La Caixa va construir l'oficina i l'actual campanar, conservant les campanes antigues. A més s'hi va construir una biblioteca popular. L'edifici es va inaugurar l'any 1950.
