Description
English: Ubicado en el Cuadrángulo Central de Ciudad del Saber, el edificio 104 mide más de 150 metros de longitud. Fue construido entre 1932-33 como una gigantesca barraca para soldados. El arquitecto a cargo del diseño fue Rolland C. Buckley y elcontratista Winston Brothers Co. De dimensiones casi palaciegas, es una síntesis entre el diseño de la arquitectura monumental europea de los s. XVIII y XIX, la arquitectura tropical zoneíta y el Art Decó (portadas). El corredor de la planta baja es una evidente reminiscencia de la tradición urbana hispánica
