Learning evaluation as the measurement of the increase or decrease in knowledge - before and after an event.

  • Education
  • Test 1 = Applied before instruction. Measures Base Knowledge. Composed of 5-10 questions . Results in %.
  • Instruction; either by tutor or audiovisual methods
  • Test 2 = Applied after instruction.
  • Tutor efficiency = Difference between Test 2 and Test 1
  • Self study: Studying composed of notes taken, homework's, search regarding topic, reading etc.
  • Test 3 = Applied after self study.
  • Student self study efficiency = Difference between Test 3 and Test 2
  • Immediate learning gains = Difference between Test 3 and Test 1
  • A time lapse of several days, weeks or months.
  • Test 4 = Learning latency, current knowledge
  • Amount forgotten = Difference between Test 3 and Test 4
  • Long term learning gains = Difference between Test 4 and Test 1
