Komische film over de verwikkelingen omtrent Koning Ferdinand die een dag een dubbelganger inzet omdat hij bedreigd wordt met een aanslag. Koning Ferdinand van Sodonje (King Ferdinand Saronoff) wordt met een aanslag bedreigd. Als een sprekend op hem lijkende toerist zich bij het paleis aandient stelt de koning hem voor om van kleding te ruilen. De namaak-koning tekent een stuk en daarmee zijn eigen doodvonnis. Hij weet nog net op tijd het vuurpeleton te ontlopen en wil zijn eigen kleren terug maar de echte koning weigert.

King Ferdinand of Sodonje (King Ferdinand Saronoff) is threatened with an attack. When a tourist who resembles him shows up at the palace, the king suggests that they switch clothes with each other. The fake king signs a document, and thereby signs his own death sentence. He manages to avoid the firing squad just in time, and asks for his own clothes back, but the real king refuses.
