Description |
English: Naos-shaped Egyptian funerary box, possibly used to contain entrails. Made in Asyut in the Late Period. At the front part, there are painted a door with locks and two winged suns (Behedety). At the other sides, symbols of Isis and Osiris as protective deities for the deceased. At the top, Seker in the form of a falcon and with the solar disc on him.
Español: Caja funeraria del Antiguo Egipto en forma de naos, posiblemente usada para guardar vísceras. Realizada en Asiut durante la Baja Época. En la parte frontal están pintados una puerta con cerrojos y dos discos solares alados (Behedety). En las otras caras, símbolos de Isis y Osiris como divinidades protectoras del difunto. Sobre la tapadera, Socar con forma de halcón y con el disco solar sobre él. |
