Die unter Denkmalschutz stehende ehemalige Zentralschule von Ausleben erfährt zur Zeit eine Renessance an Ideen. Mit der Zielsetzung dieses Bauwerk vor einem weiteren Verfall und damit einem Teil an eigener regionaler Identität zu retten, machen sich in Ausleben Kräfte für den Erhalt dieses Objektes stark. Obwohl seit Jahren leerstehend und auch erhebliche zeitliche Spuren erkennbar, will man sich trotzdem dafür einsetzen, dieses Objekt mittelfristig einer neuen Bewirtschaftung zuzuführen. Zur Zeit wird deshalb in verschiede Richtungen geprüft, welche Nutzungsmöglichkeiten sich unter Berücksichtigung der ländlichen Infrastruktur und Entwicklung hierfür anbieten.
