English: Eilean Chirceboist Eilean Chirceboist or Kirkebost Island is part of the sand dune belt which lines the west coast of North Uist. This section is however, cut off from the main island by a broad tidal lagoon, and from the sand dunes to south and north by tidal channels. Seen from Slugan, a spit on Baleshare Island, this shows the south-west corner of the island. |
