Description
English: Look at the "Elbholz" forest in the district Lüchow-Dannenberg, northern Germany. It is a natural hardwood floodplain forest at the Elbe river, which is seasonal regularly under water. This type of habitat is very endangered in Central Europe. The picture mainly shows oaks (Quercus robur).
