Description
English: What follows is the five slides' opening address given in November 1984 by Alfredo Sarich, at the time CEO of Euromatica SA at his COMPAT (Computer Aided Trade) conference held in London (UK) and attended by several hundred executives from Europe and the USA. This conference launched what is now known as Electronic Commerce. Sarich has a BCs honours degree in computer Science. Before forming Euromatica SA he was responsible for international IT projects in the European Commission, the executive arm of the European Union.
