English: Elmley Ferry. Looking north across the Swale to Elmley Island Nature Reserve. The ferry hasn't run for years. The poles mark the deep (about 3m at low water) channel. The wreck in the foreground is said to be the remains of a WWII minesweeper. James II tried to flee the country from here in 1688.
