Embajador David Nelson y Jean Shaw, Vicepresidente de Sabre Uruguay hablan con la prensa local acerca de la actividad.


El Embajador de Estados Unidos en Uruguay, David Nelson, acompañado por voluntarios de la embajada, fue invitado por la empresa Sabre Uruguay a participar de una actividad de voluntariado en la Escuela Nº 211, del Cerro, en Montevideo.

Más de un centenar de voluntarios de la empresa Sabre trabajarán para restaurar la escuela y dejarla en condiciones para cuando sus alumnos retornen. Los trabajos incluyen, lijados de puertas, arreglo del jardín, canteros y plantas, pintura de paredes y reparaciones en general.

Es la segunda vez que el embajador David Nelson, junto a voluntarios de la embajada de Estados Unidos en Uruguay participa de esta actividad de Sabre Uruguay, ya que el año pasado participó en una jornada en el que realizó trabajos de restauración en el Zoológico Municipal de Villa Dolores.
