DescriptionEmma Smith DeVoe by James & Bushnell - No photographer stamp.jpg |
Emma Smith DeVoe (1848–1927). Library of Congress description: "Formal portrait, head and shoulders, Emma Smith Devoe of Seattle, Washington, facing front with head turned in profile to right, wearing high-neck collar." Note from the restorationist:' I don't normally approve of removing things that have been part of an image for a century, but the photographer's stamp in this case definitely hurt the image composition, so it seemed better to provide a version without. |
