Description
Deutsch: Die katholische Pfarrkirche hl. Nikolaus in der niederösterreichischen Marktgemeinde Emmersdorf an der Donau. Eine spätgotische Pfeilerbasilika, die im Süden von einer spätmittelalterlichen Futtermauer mit wuchtigen Strebepfeilern umgeben ist. Der Langchor wurde im 4. Viertel des 15. Jahrhunderts errichtet. Das wuchtige Untergeschoß des vorgestellten Westturm stammt ebenfalls aus dem 15. Jahrhundert. 1738 wurde dem ein barocker oktogonaler Aufsatz mit 4 Eckobelisken aufgesetzt.
