Description
English: After the activated sludge was pumped from the MBR tank to the intermediate storage tank, the membrane module and the remaining sludge are visible. The remaining sludge wasn´t black (not anaerobic) and smelt like fresh soil. These were indications that the activated sludge is getting enough oxygen and the plant functions well Picture: Amel Saadoun, December 2011
