Description
English: If a General Electric F118 jet engine had eyes, this is what it would see as the twin air inlets on each side of the fuselage of a NASA ER-2 converge at the engine's front fan. The engine has been removed during a major maintenance period for ER-2 #809 at the Dryden Aircraft Operations Facility, located beside Air Force Plant 42 in Palmdale, California.
