Français : Ensemble magique — Égypte, IIIe ou IVe siècle — musée du Louvre. Vase en terre cuite, figurine en terre crue et bronze, tablette en plomb.

« Le vase contenant la tablette et la figurine était déposé dans la tombe d'un jeune homme afin qu'il aide le charme à s'accomplir. La tablette porte des formules en grec visant à s'attirer les faveurs d'une femme, représentée par la figurine. Les aiguilles sont enfoncées dans celle-ci aux endroits liés aux sens ou au désir et devaient la contraindre à la volonté de celui qui invoquait le charme. » (Achat, 1975 ; dép. AE, E 27145 abc.)
