| Description |
English: Entrance to Oddy Hill, Tring - Disused Lane. This used to be the main lane from Tring to Wigginton and was called Oddy Hill.
However when the A41 bypass was built (originally entitled the A41(M) but since downgraded) it chopped this lane in two and a new route to Wigginton was created (Fox Road). Oddy Hill is now in two separate parts either side of the dual carriageway, both are dead ends and neither is driveable. Oddy Hill had a spectacular bend on it - as does the other remaining Tring-Wigginton lane which is aptly named "The Twist". |
