Notes
  • Significance: Built in the early nineteenth century, the J. Walker House represents a significant example of the early nineteenth-century shift to stone construction in Mill Creek Hundred. The house and barn as they survive in their current setting exist as a rare survival of the nineteenth-century agricultural landscape in northern New Castle County.
  • Survey number: HABS DE-331
