Description
Deutsch: „Erfinderbrunnen“ von Gernot Rumpf, im Volksmund auch „Arche Noah“ genannt. Die IHK Koblenz schenkte den Brunnen 1983 anlässlich ihres 150-Jährigen Bestehens der Stadt. In schwer verständlichen allegorischen Figuren werden Erfinder aus der Umgebung von Koblenz gewürdigt. Von Südwesten gesehen ist der Vogel links auf dem Brunnenrand dem Flugzeughersteller Carl Clemens Bücker gewidmet, die Schildkröte auf Rädern vertritt den Automobilkonstrukteur August Horch und der Fisch rechts im Bild den Erfinder des nach ihm benannten Motors Nikolaus Otto.
