Como muchos extranjeros que llegaron a enriquecer nuestro país, hubo algún tipo de enamoramiento de Eric con Monterrey. Amor apasionado pues no dudaba también en levantar la voz cuando las políticas culturales, oportunidades, visión artística, no estaban a la altura. Fue fundador y director de la Ópera Metropolitana de Monterrey y posteriormente lideró los proyectos operísticos de Pro Cultura. Después de una temporada liderando el proyecto operístico en Culiacán Sinaloa, Steinman regresó a Monterrey, ciudad que hoy lo llora. |
