Description

Erin's Dad turned the wood for the recorder. It was turned from Red Cedar; a softwood gives the sound a unique quality.

The Red Cedar tree that provided the wood was planted by erin's grandmother, and had to be cut down when they built the new house on the family property.

Rather than discard the tree, Erin's Dad made this recorder.
