| Description |
English: Erosion scar on Waun Fach. Rain water has dug a number of deep trenches in the western slope of Waun Fach. The ground can soak up a lot, but where feet and hooves have consolidated the soil and formed an initial depression, surface water will extend the damage.
This square is entirely rough moorland. The Pen Trumau spur off Waun Fach fills its centre; the head of the Grwyne Fechan valley, which separates the western and central Black Mountains ridges, is in SE. |
