English: Erromango, Dillon's Bay. July 8th 1858. John Williams, Missionary, killed 1840. By Thomas Bent.
  • Shows a view looking from the water towards the shore of Erromango Island at a point where a river flows out from betwenn wooded banks and background hills. There is a sailing boat at the river's outlet, a flag flying on a pole on the shore beside the outlet, and a few houses on the far bank. A group of figures stands at the far right. Site of missionary John Williams death in 1839, in the colonial New Hebrides (present day Vanuatu).
