In 1874, restaurateur Frigyes Knortzer started to build a thirty-two-room hotel on the site of Cecília Tachauer's residence. Behind the street building, a second two-story unit was placed. • At the time of its construction, the hotel was located in a two-storey building, with the café on the ground floor, and house No. 19 became part of the facility. From 1879 – expanding further – Knortzer rented the café at No. 20. In 1929 the building at number 18 was bought from Jenő Antal by logging producer Zsigmond Steiner and converted into a tenement house. In the early 1980s, the second floor of the street building was demolished, citing danger to life. The large, rear part of the building also disappeared at that time. - Commemorative plaque: "Golden Deer Hotel is a building of local importance. It was built in 1875 by restaurateur Frigyes Knortzer as a 32-room hotel in eclectic style. The hotel was located in the then two-storey building with a café on the ground floor, and the restaurant and beer hall were located in the house no. 19. Tachauer Cecília lakóháza helyén 1874-ben kezdte építtetni Knortzer Frigyes vendéglős harminckét szobás szállodáját. Az utcai épület mögé, egy második kétemeletes egység került. • Az építésekor kétemeletes épületben volt a szálloda, földszintjén a kávéházzal, a létesítmény része lett a 19. számú ház is. 1879-től – tovább terjeszkedve – Knortzer már a 20. szám alatti kávéházat is bérbe vette. 1929-ben a 18. szám alatti épületet Antal Jenőtől megvette Steiner Zsigmond fakitermelő és bérházzá alakíttatta. Az 1980-as évek elején – életveszélyre hivatkozva – az utcai épület második emeletét lebontották. Akkor tűnt el az épület nagy, hátsó része is. - Emléktábla: "Arany Szarvas Szálló helyi jelentőségű épület. 1875-ben építtette Knortzer Frigyes vendéglős 32 szobás szállodának eklektikus stílusban. Az akkor kétemeletes épületben volt a szálloda a földszintjén kávéházzal, a 19. sz. házban volt az étterem és sörcsarnok.
