Español: Escudo del municipio de Girón (Santander).

"El escudo es acuartelado: sus figuras son heráldicas, naturales y artificiales; están dentro de un óvalo que lo orlea a modo de ribete o marco; y en su parte superior abarcando todo el conjunto, descansa una corona, símbolo de la dignidad real; sus emblemas son: El Castillo, o sea el escudo de armas que usó el antiguo Reino de Castilla, adoptado por DON ALFONSO VIII ; y el León, o sea el emblema que constituía el escudo de armas del antiguo Reino de León."
